St Mellons Road will be closed 24 hours per day for this period
Please note that the closure is likely to be until the 5 Nov (previously 3 Nov)
WELSH WATER say that:
We’ll be continuing our work installing a new water main along the B4562, St Mellons Road between the junctions of Ty Draw Road and Heol Glandulais from the 23rd October until the 5th November.
To keep the team and motorists safe, we need to close this section of the road between these dates mentioned above. A copy of the diversion route can be found HERE and will be in place for the duration of the work. The diversion route will be clearly signposted.
Letters have been sent to residents to make them aware of this upcoming road closure.
We’ll be working with our contractor partners Morrisons Water Services to help us get the work done . They’ll be working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm, although sometimes we may need to work outside these hours and on weekends to get the work done. I will update you if any weekend work is planned.
Our customers water supply shouldn’t be impacted , but if this changes we’ll let you know.
