The Lisvane Community Council has looked at the feedback following the Community Wellbeing Afternoon held in June 2023 and is keen to support and help to resolve the issues raised.
One point of interest was the Cyber Security Professional session and so we would like to make everyone aware that information and advice can be found on the Age Cymru website. Click on Advice and Information, Money Matters, then Scams and Frauds. All scams should be reported to ACTION FRAUD on 0300 123 2040. We will only all know the extent and scale of these scams if they are reported. A Digital Awareness Club is run fortnightly at the Lisvane Community Library at The Old School. They are happy to help with all your digital devices, technical problems and even teach you new digital skills. They will also be available to advise on your individual scam incidents and help you to protect yourself whilst online. This is a drop-in session, all are welcome. Upcoming dates are Thursday 7th and 21st September, 5th and 19th October at 10-11.30am.
